Cohen Montalto P.C. filed a lawsuit against Jaguar Land Rover North America LLC on Thursday June 8, 2019 in the U.S. District Court of New Jersey.  In the lawsuit, Plaintiff Theodore Levy of Florida alleges that his thumb was severed by the automatic door of his 2016 Jaguar XJRL.  The lawsuit is seeking unspecified damages for claims including product liability, design defect, negligence, warranty breaches, and fraudulent concealment.  Jaguar Land Rover Ltd. and Tata Motors Ltd. (parent company of Jaguar) were also named as defendants in the lawsuit.
